I am excited to inform you of an exciting development regarding the future of our firm.
After an exceptionally rewarding career, I am looking forward to retirement and spending more time with my family and friends. Having proudly served our clients for over 40 years, we have made the decision to transition the ownership of our firm.
As of November 1, 2025, Garza Cummings Blocher LLC (“GCB”) will be taking over client services for Donald C. Turnbow, CPA PC. GCB is a Dallas-based firm located next to Southern Methodist University and they have the same commitment to serving the local market as me and our team. This decision was made with great care and consideration. Our top priority has always been to provide you with the highest level of professional service. I am confident that this transition will provide our clients with a top-notch level of experience, focus, and overall satisfaction with GCB's tailored full-service offerings. As a result, we are confident you will continue to receive excellent service and support.
Here’s what you can expect during the transition:
- Continued Service: All current services will continue uninterrupted.
- Familiar Team: We are excited to announce that both Susan and Carlene have joined the GCB team! They will continue to provide you with the same level of service, and your account knowledge will remain with our new partners.
- New Opportunities: GCB is a full-service firm that provides tax, audit, accounting and advisory services. The firm was established in 1982 and since then, they have built a strong reputation for service while adding value to their clients through their many offerings.
